Our hope and salvation is not in anything this world can offer, and therefore, our peace cannot come from within it either. God is sovereign and omniscient. Our peace can be in Him who is unshakable and unchanging.
“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you” (2 Thessalonians 3:16, NIV). We are to exemplify Christ in every way possible, allowing the Spirit to work where we lack. Trust in God and know He is in control of it all. Be kind to others and live out your faith with a calm spirit, trusting that when things appear to be going wrong, God still has a plan. You are at peace.
